Progroup starting up sheeting plant in Ellesmere Port

Progroup has started trial runs at the new sheeting plant in Ellesmere Port, UK, and launched a new corporate branding.

On 27 November, Progroup has started trial runs of its new sheeting plant in Ellesmere Port. According to information given earlier, the new sheeting plant has a working width of 3.35 m and can produce up to 235,000 tpy of corrugated board. The investment sum is placed at €85m. The new plant shall replace Progroup’s current plant, which is located nearby.

Also on 27 November, Progroup has changed its corporate branding, focusing on the name “Progroup”. So for example the affiliated companies Propapier, Prowell or Prologistik have been renamed Progroup Paper, Progroup Board, and Progroup Logistics.
