Eska group runs two bord mill in the Netherlands and three sheeting and warehouse centres in Italy, Spain, and the United States.

Italy's white lined chipboard (WLC) producer Reno de Medici has finalised the acquistion of 100 per cent of the share capital of Fineska, the Dutch holding company of solid board and packaging manufacturer Eska, from US investment firm Andlinger. The acquisition was already announced last June.

Solidboard applications include, luxury packaging, stationery, bookbinding, puzzles and games. "Eska's product line focuses on specialty grades, similar to the portfolio of Ovaro mill. With its integration in RDM Group, we aim at implementing the same strategic multi-mill approach that has yielded visible benefits in our core WLC business," said Michele Bianchi, CEO of RDM.
