The continued price increase for recycled containerboard has finally come to a halt in Germany in June.
There was a moderate easing on the customer side as demand was slowing slightly at a high level, said EUWID respondents.
But the supply situation was still tense, the corrugated board industry was ordering its full budget and delivering extra volumes was impossible, they added. Buyers continue to describe the supply situation as difficult.
Producers of corrugated case material say they would be happy if business became less hectic and they had the ability to build up some inventories again.
