Reduction in German RCCM prices comes to a halt in June

18 Jun 2019 −

The downward trend in recycled corrugated case material prices was stopped in June, say EUWID sources in Germany.

After several months of falling prices, the German recycled corrugated case material market is pointing to stabilisation again. In most cases RCCM prices remained unchanged in June. Only occasionally do market players report marginal price reductions for June deliveries.

Market players are now debating whether this stabilisation is long term or not. Some paper mills are also interested in increasing their sales prices again and think that a price hike may be possible over the summer months if overseas demand continues to grow.
