Demand for pulp is strong in all market, company says.

After Södra announced a price increase for NBSK pulp last week SCA is now also asking for higher prices. SCA said it would charge €960/t for Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft Pulp from 1 January 2020.

The company says that demand for pulp is strong on all markets, while the price development in Europe has been lagging behind compared to North America and Asia. "We want to reduce the gap between Europe and other markets", the company's VP Sales and Marketing Pulp, Henning Ellström, said in a statement.
