SCA will divide the group in Hygiene and Forest Products divisions in order to intensify the focus of its operations.

SCA has decided to divide the group into two divisions: a Hygiene division and Forest products division. According to SCA, 85% of its sales derived from the tissue and personal care operations. The new organisation is expected to strengthen the focus on the group's two operations.

SCA also announced a SEK7.8bn (€815m) investment in the Östrand pulp mill in Sweden. The goal of the investment is to increase the capacity for northern bleached sulphate kraft (NBSK) pulp at the Östrand mill to 900,000 tpy. SCA expects the new capacity to come online in 2018.
