SCGP buys British foodservice packaging provider Go-Pak

Thai SCG Packaging (SCGP) group is acquiring Go-Pak, the largest independent British supplier of disposable foodservice products.

The acquisition is part of SCGP’s strategy to expand its geographic reach. 

Go-Pak supplies customers in Europe, North America and Australia with over 250 paper and plastic products manufactured in 2 plants in Vietnam, Go-Pak Vietnam Ltd. and Go-Pak Vietnam Paper Ltd. The plants are 100 per cent owned by Go-Pak. In the period from October 2019 to September 2020 Go-Pak has generated sales of £68.7m (€75m).
