Silphie Paper to continue production at Papierfabrik Scheufelen site

The newly founded company Silphie Paper intends to resume paper production on one of the three machines at the Lenningen paper mill of the insolvent Papierfabrik Scheufelen.

The company plans to use the eponymous “Silphium perfoliatum” and other plants to partially substitute wood pulp as raw material in paper production. Operation is scheduled to start in the first half of 2020.
