The Smurfit Kappa Group (SKG) has announced the acquisition of French packaging company Papcart as well as two Europac plants also located in France.

Papcart is a manufacturer of cartonboard and corrugated board consumer packaging, which is active in the luxury, wines & spirits, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and bag-in-box markets. The company has two sites in Gétigné and Jarnac in Western France which have a total of 50,000 m² of production, storage and office space.
