Manufacturers of folding box board (GC) were able to put through higher prices in the UK, but had to make concessions with regard to the amount of the increase and, in some occasions, the timing.
In most instances, prices for GC II board went up for January deliveries. However, suppliers were not able to tag on the full amount they had originally announced.
Mostly the higher prices are being charged for deliveries from 1 January, but in some cases the increase will also become effective in the course of January or from February.
