The world's largest producer of short-fibre pulp Suzano is set to further increase pulp prices for deliveries in May.
Brazil's pulp producer Suzano has announced a new price increase for May. The company is asking for a $80/t price hike for deliveries of bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp on the Europen market. The announcement comes at a time when the increase requested for April is still being negotiated across Europe.
While the group is also planning a new surcharge for May in North America, it has announced unchanged BEK pulp prices for customers in China.
