Titanium dioxide prices see significant reduction

After the first small corrections in the third quarter of 2018, contract prices for titanium dioxide were for the first time reduced more sharply in the negotiations for the fourth quarter.

Negotiations were largely concluded by mid-October. In the chloride sector, price reductions tended to be lower than in other market segments. In the case of simple titanium dioxide grades for use in paints and varnishes, on the other hand, there have been even greater reductions.
