Converters also use more substitute papers, which has removed tension from the market.
Moreover, North American kraftliner seems to have captured a significantly larger market share in Germany. Industry respondents say that deliveries from the USA to the German market were more than 70% higher in the first quarter of this year than in the same period last year.
