DS Smith has informed that the PUSU deadline for the takeover by Mondi has been extended again. The new deadline is 23 April 5 pm GMT.
Mondi and DS Smith reached an agreement in principle a on the key financial terms of a possible all share offer by Mondi for DS Smith on 7 March, following the announcement that talks about a combination of the two paper giants was taking place on 14 February.
In the meantime, International Paper has also submitted an offer to acquire DS Smith.
