After a successful price hike in May, some eucalyptus pulp manufacturers have announced another increase for June.
In May the European eucalyptus pulp market is still tight with no pulp available beyond contracted volumes. Therefore suppliers managed to increase prices quite effortlessly, according to reports.
For June, three South American producers, including the world's leading supplier, have announced a further price increase in Europe. Market insiders believe that pulp manufacturers stand good chances to put through their plans.
