Italy's Fedrigoni group, a Bain Capital company, continues its shopping spree with the aim of strengthening its global position on the market for premium label papers for the wine and spirits industry.
The group announced it had signed an agreement for the acquisition of 100 per cent of shares in the French specialty paper producer Papeterie Zuber Rieder. The completion of the transaction is subject to works council consultations, Fedrigoni explained.
Papeterie Zuber Rieder employs 130 people and offers a portfolio of premium paper products for label, packaging and graphic applications in basis weights of 72 to 710 g/m².
