Cellmark Italy will act as the exclusive sales and marketing agent for Norske Skog's publication paper and corrugated case material grades on the Italian market as of 1 January 2023.
Sweden-based international wholesale and trading company Cellmark has entered into a sales and marketing agreement with Norske Skog for Italy. According to Cellmark, Norske Skog has agreed to transfer the assets of Norske Skog Italia to Cellmark Italy as of 1 January 2023. The staff of Norske Skog Italia will also be transferred to Cellmark Italy.
"Through this strategic partnership with Cellmark, Norske Skog will preserve the continuity of the sales and customer service functions in Italy on behalf of the Norske Skog European Business units," Cellmark announced.
"The imminent introduction of the Strato recycled containerboard products will add to our product portfolio [of publication paper], and with Cellmark, we see the ideal partner to achieve further growth in our Italian market“, Robert Wood, SVP Commercial of Norske Skog is quoted as saying.
Cellmark did not reveal any financial details of the deal.
