Stora Enso is restarting production at its Finnish mills this and next week.

Stora Enso has confirmed that the Varkaus mill, which was idled due to the strikes in the Finnish logistics sector, has restarted production at the beginning of this week. This was possible because good were transported from warehouses by trucks instead by rail, a spokesperson told EUWID.

Production at the Oulu and Imatra mills is currently ramping up, too.

At Anjalankoski Mills, only paper production was down during the strikes while board production has been running throughout. The paper line will start first thing next week, Stora Enso confirmed.
