Canadian Catalyst Paper Corporation on 30 September 2006 will indefinitely close the groundwood pulp facility at its Port Alberni plant in the province of British Columbia. Instead of groundwood pulp the Port Alberni mill will use deinked pulp supplied by its paper recycling division in Coquitlam, the company reports. ...
