German producer of folding cartons Edelmann Group has expanded its Polish production facility in Pruszków near Warsaw. A new production building was erected and the manufacturing plant was modernised for a total consideration of €4m. A new printing machine and a cutting and folding machine have been installed at the new site. Edelmann says the expansion is a strategic step in order to be able to serve the growing middle and eastern European markets for package inserts and outserts.
