Germany’s recovered paper market is quite calm at the moment. Supply and demand are balanced, at least for the mass grades. Market players thus anticipate largely stable prices for mixed paper and board and supermarket paper and board in June. That being said, peak prices have reportedly been eliminated in a few instances. Medium and high grades remain under severe pressure, though, because sales are so difficult.
