Norwegian manufacturer of packaging paper, Hurum Paper Mill AS, will close down permanently at the end of the year. Located in Tofte, Hurum produces 36,000 t of packaging paper annually on two machines, and employs around 65 people. Hurum says that the closure is motivated by weak demand in the mill’s key markets.
