International Paper (IP) has agreed terms for the sale of the major part of its former Inverurie paper mill site to the Aberdeenshire-based Kirkwood group of companies. According to IP, the transaction will include 40 hectares comprising industrial, warehousing and office buildings. Further, the divestment completes the redeployment of the entire site with 26 hectares already under redevelopment. The Kirkwood Group is involved several businesses amongst others steel manufacturing and renewable energies.
