Radeče papir to be auctioned off on 14 November

Slovenia’s bankrupt office and banknote paper manufacturer Radeče papir goes on the block. The bidding for the paper mill complex starts at €6.184m.

The bankrupt Slovenian paper manufacturer Radeče papir will go on the block in mid November. According to the official auction announcement document published by the bankruptcy administrator’s office, the auction will be held on 14 November 2012 at the District Court of Celje. The minimum start price for the paper mill complex is €6.184m.

Production at the paper mill in Radeče in eastern Slovenia has been completely idle since March. The mill houses two paper machines with an installed production capacity of 36,000 tpy of woodfree uncoated paper and 9,000 tpy of banknote and security paper. Radeče papir had initially tried to restructure its debt but finally had to file for bankruptcy in April 2012.
