Rottneros is temporarily limiting production at its Rottneros pulp mill. Due to high energy prices and timber costs the CTMP line has been standing still for 10 days. Moreover, the strong Swedish currency was putting a damper on export margins, said the company in a statement on 12 December. The loss of production due to the standstill is estimated at approximately 2,500 t. The group’s other manufacturing facilities have not been affected.
