Södra Cell has announced its participation in a feasibility study for a pulp mill in the Russian region of Krasnoyarsk in Siberia. The company has signed a mutual letter of intent with the Russian manufacturer Angara Paper and the Russian VEB bank. The pulp mill Angara Paper is planning to build in the region would have an annual capacity of 1.1 million t of softwood pulp. Södra Cell will not be involved in production but only in marketing the pulp.
