High demand from China contributed to an increase in prices for sorted graphic paper for deinking in Germany in August.
Sorted graphic paper for deinking remained sought-after on the German market in August. As a result, prices for this grade went up again, albeit not as much as they did in July. Buyers in Germany had to compete with Chinese paper mills for this grade, so they increased prices to keep the material within the country.
Market insiders talking to EUWID expected additional mark-ups for sorted graphic paper for deinking in September as well.
