Specialty paper company Cordier in Germany has a new investment partner. The company decided to sell part of its shares in order to grow with new capital.
Dutch investment group Value Enhancement Partners (VEP) has acquired a majority holding in German Cordier Papier Holding and Cordier Spezialpapier. The sale of shares would allow the company to have access to new capital to enhance growth, the involved parties told EUWID.
Cordier is a producer of specialty papers such as book paper, vulcanised fibre base paper or heat-resistant labels as well as technial pulp such as cotton rag pulp and linter pulp. The company runs three mills in Germany and currently employs 235 people.
