Bellmer takes over Papcel

The acquisition of Papcel will give Bellmer a stronger foothold in the markets in Eastern Europe and Russia.

Germany’s machine engineering company Bellmer announced the acquisition of the Czech paper technology company Papcel. Papcel will be consolidated into the Bellmer group and will do business as Bellmer Czech in future. The purchase price was not revealed.

Papcel is considered a specialist for stock preparation systems in Russia and East European countries. According to Papcel, the „rough raw material conditions“ in these countries require „heavy machinery solutions and maximum energy efficiency“ and the company’s products are geared to meet these demands.

With the acquisition of Papcel Bellmer has completed its product and service offering and will establilsh a stronger presence in East European markets.
