The first batch of licences to import recovered paper (RCP) into China next year covers more than 5 million t.
On 14 December 2018, Chinese authorities issued the first batch of licences for the import of RCP into China, covering a total of more than 5 million t. Nine Dragons accounted for more than one fifth of this amount, landing a licence to import 1,38 million t. Guangzhou Paper's licence covered 730,000 t and Lee & Man's licence amounted to 648,000 t. Shandong Huatai is allowed to import 680,000 t, Shanying International 460,000 t and Zhejiang Shanying 195,000 t.
