De Jong Verpakking buys majority in Bangma in the Netherlands

Following the purchase of the British company Ecorrugated at the beginning of July, De Jong Verpakking (DJV) completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Bangma Verpakking at the end of July.

With this step, DJV strengthens its position in the Dutch market for food packaging and expands its network of packaging erecting centres in the Netherlands.

Dutch regulatory authority Autoriteit Consument en Markt has already approved the transaction. Financial details were not disclosed.
