Feldmuehle Uetersen completes restructuring

The insolvency proceedings of German specialty paper manufacturer Feldmuehle will be lifted before the end of 2019 after successful restructuring.

On 16 December 2019, the creditors of German Feldmuehle unanimously approved the insolvency plan submitted by the company. The insolvency proceedings will be lifted before the end of 2019 and Feldmuehle will be able to continue operation.

The company has successfully completed the restructuring that started at the end of 2018. During the process, Feldmuehle adjusted costs, improved efficiency and was able to achieve operating profitability in summer 2019.
