Germany: No change in sack kraft paper price

09 Apr 2019 −

The German sack kraft paper market eased a little during the course of the first quarter, with lead times becoming shorter as a result.

No movement has occurred on the price front going into the second quarter after another round of mark-ups took hold with effect from 1 January.

This was attributed to traditionally weaker demand in the first few months of the year. Yet, some market players also pointed to decreasing raw material prices which normally tended to suggest stable or even falling sack kraft paper prices.
