Perlen Papier seeking higher prices for LWC from 1 July

Costs for magazine paper production have risen fast
Costs for magazine paper production have risen fast
28 Apr 2021 −

The market is expecting paper producers to announce massive price hikes for all publication paper grades.

Perlen Papier has announced a price increase of at least €80/t for newsprint and €60/t for LWC to current market prices for deliveries from 1 July 2021. The company said that a price increase is essential because current paper prices are at unsustainable levels, and costs for fibre, energy, auxiliaries and transport have risen massively.
