Will prices for coreboard go up in January?
15 Dec 2020 −

Three European suppliers of coreboard, greyboard, solid board and laminating board want to increase prices as of 1 January.

German company Julius Schulte Söhne wants to charge €50/t more for coreboard, greyboard and laminating board, while Italian coreboard producer Cartiera di Ferrara wants to raise its prices by €60/t.

Dutch company Solidus Solutions announced to increase board prices by €50, while prices for converted solid board packaging products are to go up by 8 per cent.

Reasons for these increases are rapidly escalating cost and limited availability of recycled paper, the companies stated.
