Italian recycling firm Trevisan S.p.A. has expanded its footprint in the country with the acquisition of Emiliarec in mid-September, a company spokeswoman confirmed. Emiliarec is based near Ferrara in the Emilia-Romagna region and specialises in paper recycling. The company processes around 18,000 tpy of recovered paper on one line and has 15 employees.
After a successful expansion to the island of Sardinia, Trevisan took advantage of the opportunity to acquire the Emiliarec site, the spokeswoman said. In 2018, Trevisan built a new recycling plant in Sardinia that operates under the name Sardarec....
