Zeus buys Northern Irish James Hamilton Group

Irish packaging company Zeus Group has acquired James Hamilton Group, a leading Northern Irish print and packaging business. With annual sales of €18m and 120 employees, James Hamilton Group offers packaging, labels, office supplies, and personal protective equipment solutions across multiple sectors including retail, food & beverage, logistics and distribution.

The company will therefore significantly increase Zeus Group's ability to cater to the unique needs of customers in the food, beverage, and retail industries. By joining forces with James Hamilton Group, Zeus will furthermore leverage the combined purchasing power and unlock operational efficiencies the combined operations in Northern Ireland.

James Hamilton Group will continue to operate under its brand, leveraging its existing manufacturing expertise and management team.

This acquisition forms the next part of Zeus Group's 2023 growth strategy to see group sales surpass €500m. Over the last 12 months, the company has acquired Polish Polpack, Irish distributor JJ O'Toole, and British companies Swanline and Boxmart. Zeus, headquartered in Cork, Ireland, manufactures and distributes a range of sustainable packaging solutions to customers across the globe.
