Although their assessments of the situation and pricing plans may differ, the majority of EUWID respondents reported unchanged prices on the European pulp market in August. This suggests the months-long price slide has stalled, at least for now. In the hardwood pulp segment, the two sides are already negotiating a possible price hike for September. The price talks in the softwood segment are progressing slowly. Surprisingly, the negotiations for August had not yet been concluded everywhere by the end of calendar week 37....
