Sappi Europe plans to increase prices for fine papers to counteract ongoing cost inflation and maintain the profitability of the business.
The company has announced a price increase of 7 to 10 per cent from January 2024. The actual amount will depend on the respective product and market conditions.
This step was necessary in order to counteract the current cost development. Sappi Europe will remain fully committed to the printing industry and will work closely with its customers to achieve the best possible outcome across the print media value chain, the company underlined.
